This project won’t be able to be completed in class time, however students will have all the tools they need to complete at home. This class will require 1 ball of yarn in student’s choice, 1 set corresponding 16” circular needles, 1 set corresponding double points, stitch markers, tapestry needle, snips, notepad, pencil, and calculator. All supplies can be found locally, students will get a full list of suppliers and workshop handout upon registration.
Courtney Spainhower of Pink Brutus Knits is one of our fav knitwear designers here at Homespun: Modern Handmade. In the past five years she went from knitting under the moniker Lucy and the Bird, and churning out adorable bow ties, booties and shawls, to having her designs grace the covers and pages of Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Zealana and Creative Knitting. She has also contributed to the book Handmade for Baby (due to release Spring 2015) and so much more in-between.
Courtney is a regular contributor on Ravelry, makes a mean cocktail, grows a wicked garden, chugs coffee, loves all creatures and is an all around crafty wife and mother of two. She will be teaching a few exclusive workshops for us so be sure to find the one that is perfectly stitched for you!
