Workshop: Succulent Terrarium

Low-maintenance, lovely, and easy to assemble: succulent terrariums are the perfect spring project to bring some green back into your world. Join Rana Salame in our shop as she shares her expertise in basic succulent cutting, rooting, and plant care. This class is great for beginners and open to children, too – one child and one caregiver together may purchase a ticket. Please note: one ticket is worth one terrarium – if you would like to made additional terrariums, please be sure to purchase additional tickets.
All supplies and tools are included in the cost of the workshop.
Rana Salame is a crafty wonderwoman. Not only is she on staff as the professional product photographer for Homespun: Modern Handmade, she also runs a successful photography business and a popular jewelry line. She describes herself as a “loving, caring, nurturing, traveling, kitten-cuddling, toddler-toting, photographer woman.” Her love of mother nature is evident in her craft and she likes to play with flowers and plants in her spare time.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This workshop is open to ages 3 & up (caregiver must stay with child for the duration of the workshop). Participants will handle dirt, so bring along an apron or an extra change of clothes.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Free parking is available on weekdays only after 5:30pm and all day on weekends in the lot behind the Trailside Building. Overnight parking is never available. There are also 25 free street spaces along the street behind the Trailside Building (Davidson street). Otherwise, metered parking is available along Mass Ave. Please adhere to posted signage.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
All supplies and tools are included in the cost of this workshop. Participants are welcome to bring drinks and snacks. This is a private event so feel free to BYOB.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Please be sure to purchase your tickets for the workshop at least 48 hours in advance as the workshop needs a minimum number of attendees to run. If the minimum number of tickets is not sold, any previously sold tickets will be refunded in full. Tickets may be sold at the door if the minimum number of tickets is sold by the 48-hour deadline. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable unless at least 72 hours notices is given.
